Our app uses background location access for the punch in/out feature, which is critical to the app’s core functionality. Without background location tracking, users would need to manually open the app to punch out, which would diminish the app’s primary purpose of automating attendance tracking. The feature ensures users are accurately logged out when they leave designated areas, and the app would be unusable without this capability.
